When an up-and-coming fashion brand and the eternally cool Chloe Sevigny host events in the same place, it cannot be a coincidence. Roll & Hill, an interiors shop tucked away on the lower half of Mercer Street in New York City’s Soho, was just that place. Last Thursday, the young label Öhlin/D took over the Roll & Hill space, transforming its modern showroom into a chic school yard, complete with a mountain of books from The Strand. A few days later, Chloe Sevigny celebrated friend Delfina Delettrez and her collaboration with MatchesFashion.com, where guests were offered an enormous chocolate bar in honor of Valentine’s Day. When fashion week is not taking over the stunning three story space, the shop offers an array of custom lighting, furniture by creative director Jason Miller, Golan rugs, and the occasional vintage find.
